Foil Transfer Art
We love an art project that’s simple, engaging, and pretty enough to hang up on the wall! Foil prints are super fun to do and can easily be adapted to any holiday or color scheme.
Supplies Needed:
- Cardstock or sturdy paper
- Permanent marker
- Washable markers
- Spray bottle filled with water
- Aluminum foil
Step-by-Step:
- Draw your design using the permanent marker on the cardstock. You drawing should look like a coloring book page, with black lines only.
- Unroll a piece of aluminum foil larger than your paper and scribble all over it with washable markers.
- Spritz the aluminum foil with your spray bottle, making sure to apply enough water to get the surface damp, but not enough that the colors start to run and turn brown.
- Press your cardstock drawing onto the foil. Rub gently to make sure all the color transfers.
- Lift the paper off and let it dry.
- Enjoy your beautiful work of art!
